Scientific facilities

The PICS-L develops and implements 4 types of scientific equipment which are both research tools and research objects:
- photometric and psychometric measurement systems in Marne-la-Vallée to collect data in the lab;
- immersive simulators in Marne-la-Vallée and Versailles (for drivers, cyclists, pedestians);
- the Impact3D platform which combines a robotized electric car (Impact3D-AV) to collect data on closed tracks, and a full scale driving simulator (Impact3D-VR&motion) to collect data in simulated environments.
- various road-side and on-board devices to collect data in the field.
